As a global organization, ICF is critically aware of and working to improve the climate crisis facing the world. It’s one of the biggest challenges humankind has faced to date and one that we do not take lightly.

The Caribe Royale

Quick facts about The Caribe Royale's commitment to sustainability:

The Caribe Royale is pleased to be an official Green Lodging hotel and earned the Three Palm Designation by the state of Florida.
Water Conservation: Guest towel/linen reuse, low flow faucet/shower head, automatic faucets/toilets in public restroom.
Energy Efficiency: Energy Star rated equipment, sensor lighting, LED lighting throughout property, weather stripping, double pane windows, air conditioning temperature set to save energy.
Waste Reduction: Recycling receptacles are available for guest use. Additionally, they recycle industrial items such as light bulbs, oil, tires, ballasts, metal, and more. They use paper products with recycled content. Bulk purchase of copy paper.
Clean Air Practices: Annual cleaning of air handlers/coils, use of Merv8 air filters, guest transportation to Disney, LYNX bus passes for employees, and bike rentals available for guests. They use environmentally preferable air freshener and glass cleaner.
Food & Beverage Contribution: “Skip the straw” initiative – paper straws are used for alcoholic beverages, and non-alcoholic beverages use paper straws upon request. Bottled water is no longer used for internal functions.

ICF Converge 2023

Quick facts about steps that ICF has taken to host a sustainable conference:

There are no paper forms. Registration is made via our online registration form.
Other than participant badges and the Schedule-at-a-Glance, all materials and daily communications will be provided digitally through the conference mobile app. This also reduces packing and shipping materials.
Converge 23 will offer water stations and reusable attendee water bottles.

ICF is a non-partisan organization. Political affiliation is not considered in our decision when choosing a venue location, the selection and contracting of which is finalized years in advance of an in-person event.

Regardless of where we are, we remain committed to living our core values. We can empower the world through coaching — beginning with the place where we gather. ICF Converge 2023 provides us the opportunity to empower the Orlando community through a variety of ways, from bringing a coaching mindset to every interaction to supporting the local hospitality industry and businesses. When the global coaching community comes together, we can create a positive impact — no matter where we are.
