Susan Douglas, PCC, PhD, is a systemic executive and team coach and coaching supervisor certified with a number of coaching organizations. Susan weaves coaching knowledge and skills into her work as an associate professor of practice in the department of Leadership, Policy and Organizations at Vanderbilt University. She has written about coaching as a teachable skill and how to make a case for coaching in human service organizations. She also serves as faculty for the College of Executive Coaching and the Global Team Coaching Institute.
Susan is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and completed post-doctoral fellowships at Harvard University and Harvard Medical School. She presents and publishes widely, with an active research portfolio on implementing technology-informed workforce development strategies to improve health care practice and organizational learning. This includes coaching and design thinking as strategic change initiatives to optimize diversity of perspectives for strong innovation and leadership.
