Ann V. Deaton, PCC, PhD, TIPC, CTPC, earned her master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology, specializing in neuropsychology and health psychology. Her first career was as a clinical neuropsychologist in health care settings. After two decades in health care, Ann transitioned into a career in leadership and team coaching. Her work focuses on individuals, teams, organizations, and communities experiencing significant challenge and change. Ann works with leaders in government, health care, technology, higher education, and various other industries. She is certified as a Team Performance Coach and Polarities Master Practitioner.
Together with Kemia Sarraf and Antoinette Ayers, Ann co-created curricula in trauma mitigation coaching for experienced coaches and leaders and trauma leadership for organizations. Ann has authored two books about group and team coaching: Being Coached: Group & Team Coaching from the Inside and VUCA Tools for a VUCA World: Developing Leaders and Teams for Sustainable Results.
